What is a sports performance dashboard, and how can it benefit me as an athlete?
The Savage Athlete Sports Performance dash board is a powerful data tracking tool that allows athletes to monitor and analyze various performance metrics during training, recovery and games. By using the dashboard, you can gain valuable insights into your performance, set goals, track progress, and make data-driven decisions to enhance your athletic abilities and achieve better results.
How hard is the dashboard to use?
The dashboard is designed with a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation, making it easy for athletes of all levels to use. We prioritize simplicity and clarity, ensuring you can focus on your performance without being overwhelmed by complex features or confusing menus. You will receive getting started instructions that walk you through how to save the dashboard to your phone and how to update your activities. You can also receive support, by texting Support if you have questions or need assistance.
Is the dashboard compatible with my device and operating system?
The dashboard is designed to be compatible with a variety of current devices, including smartphones, tablets, and PCs, across popular operating systems such as iOS and Android using your device’s web browser.
How does onboarding work for a team?
Every team plan includes full virtual onboarding and training for your coaching staff and players. We walk your staff through the platform, help configure your roster, and make sure everyone knows exactly how to use it from day one. Ongoing support is also included — your staff and players can reach our support team anytime during business hours. Most teams are fully up and running within a week.
Data and Tracking
What types of performance metrics can I track with this dashboard?
The Savage Athlete Sports Performance Dashboard offers a targeted range of performance metrics to track, including time spent, muscles worked, game stats, calories burned, and much more. The exact elements on each dashboard vary by sport.
Does the dashboard provide real-time feedback during workouts or games?
Our dashboard offers real-time feedback and performance tracking, enabling you to make immediate adjustments during training or games. As soon as you complete and/or enter an activity, your data is updated. You can monitor your metrics and gain insights on the go, helping you optimize your performance in the moment. During times of peak demand, there may be a delay up to 5 minutes at most for your data to refresh, so do not worry if you do not see the update right after you text. We are working diligently on increasing capacity and speed.
How does game data get connected?
Game stats can be uploaded by your coaching or support staff using a CSV export from Instat or TPE. Individual players without access to team game data can manually enter their own self-tracked stats directly in the app. We recommend watching your game film or ask a parent to track your stats. Alternatively, check with your coach or agent to see if they can provide you with your stats.
If you use a different stats platform, contact us — we may be able to connect it for you.
Whoop and Integrations
What is WHOOP and do I need it?
WHOOP is a wearable fitness tracker that continuously monitors your strain, recovery, and sleep. Savage Athlete integrates directly with WHOOP to automatically pull your training and recovery data into your dashboard — no manual entry required. While WHOOP is not required to use Savage Athlete, it significantly enhances the platform by eliminating manual data entry for workouts, practices, and recovery. WHOOP is sold separately through WHOOP directly.
Can I sync the dashboard with other fitness or health-tracking platforms I use?
We selected Whoop due to the robustness of its offering, the convenience of a wrist strap, and the fact that it does not need to be removed. We are working on integrations with several popular fitness and health-tracking platforms and wearables in order to allow you to consolidate your data from various sources, providing a comprehensive overview of your overall health and performance. If you use a platform that you would like integrated, please let us know via the contact form and we will explore the feasibility of integration.
Privacy and Security
How does the dashboard ensure the security and privacy of my data?
We take data security and privacy seriously. You will receive a user-specific link to your specific dashboard. Our data warehouse employs advanced encryption techniques to protect your personal information and performance data. We also adhere to strict privacy policies that govern the collection, storage, and use of your data. Rest assured that your information is handled with utmost care and confidentiality.
Plans and Pricing
What pricing plans or subscription options are available?
We currently offer month-to-month and annual subscription options to cater to various needs and budgets. We also offer a team, club and agent rates.
I have an individual account and my team is now signing up also, do I need both accounts?
You only need one account at a time. Contact us via our contact form and we can pause your individual account while you are utilizing your team’s plan. When you are switched to your team’s plan, your data will stay with you – your dashboard will retain all of your data from your individual plan. The following will change:
Your billing will be paused
Your coach be able to view your data on the coach’s dashboard
You will be able to see and use your team’s workouts
I switched teams or was traded to a team that also uses Savage Athlete, what happens to my dashboard?
If you switch teams and go to another team that is also using Savage Athlete, you do not need to do anything. Your account and its data will follow you. The following will change:
Your dashboard and data will become linked with your new team
Your new coach be able to view your data on the coach’s dashboard
Your old coach will no longer be able to view your data
If you are still seeing your old team, your new team may not have alerted us of the roster change. Please contact us via our contact form and we will ensure your account is transferred.
I switched teams or was traded to a team that doesn't use Savage Athlete. Can I still use my dashboard?
If you want continuing using Savage Athlete, we recommend showing your dashboard to your new coach and ask them to contact us for a demo.
If your new team does not wish to sign up for a team account and you wish to continue improving with Savage Athlete, you will need to sign up for either our Rookie plan or our Elite plan. Your dashboard data will stay with you and your old coach will no longer have access to your data.
Is there customer support available if I encounter any issues or have questions?
Yes, we have a dedicated customer support team ready to assist Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm (PST), with any questions, concerns, or technical issues you may encounter. You can also reach out to our support team via text using your text number supplied in your getting started instructions, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Teams
What sports does Savage Athlete support currently?
Savage Athlete is currently built specifically for hockey, with metrics, tracking, and analysis designed around the demands of the game. We are actively developing sport-specific versions for additional sports, including baseball, basketball and football. If you are interested in a sport not yet supported, contact us and let us know — player and coach demand directly influences our development roadmap.
Our team had a roster change, how do we update our dashboard?
When your roster changes, contact us via our contact form, or your support text, or contact your sales person. We will get your rosters changed right away. Usually within 24-48 hours.

Support
My Dashboard is not showing my activity?
Periodically, WHOOP will execute updates. When this happens it may cause your data to not appear on your dashboard. It is easy to fix. Simply scroll do the bottom of your dashboard page and click on “Using WHOOP? Connect” to reconnect your data.
